That’s a wrap

With just a few days left in the year, I am going to take a much needed break from the computer and social media. There are a few chores around the house and garage that need some attention which will hopefully keep me occupied. And hopefully some time outdoors, just being present and observing. The website has been updated, new photos added to the portfolio, my gear tab has been updated, and the galleries section went away. The galleries section going away was a tough choice, but it only made sense. It had gotten bloated with photos of all of my travels, and it was difficult to maintain. The blog worked better for displaying photos from an outing. It was quick and easy. Plus my Flickr page is still active.

And….my old Haida M10 and Lee filter kit has been put up for sale locally, priced to sell, and my spare R5 has been offered to a potential buyer as of a few minutes ago. See, I can reduce gear when I need to.

Next up is an outing in January to photograph the Sandhill Cranes at Wheeler Wildlife Refuge, and then the local photography club’s January competition on the 27th. The theme is “Looking Up/Looking Down”. Should be a fun competition as I have a few candidates in mind already.

2024 has been a prolific year, and I do not want to say goodbye to it just yet, but time marches on. Until next time, Happy 2025!
