New Print

A few weeks back, I got out early on a weekend morning with the intention of testing out a new lens, the Canon RF 16mm. My 1st stop was the U.S. Space and Rocket Center for a few test shots. Sometime during my quick stop, I slapped the Canon RF 35mm lens back on my Canon R5 and fired off a few shots to test it out as well. I’m absolutely in love with that lens, it went to Alaska with me, Ave Maria Grotto in Cullman, Alabama, and Barber Motorsports Museum near Birmingham, Alabama. It has proven itself already, and reinvigorated my photographic pursuits. One of the photos I took of the Saturn V replica outside the Space and Rocket Center was re-edited and printed 16x20. The edits consisted of warming up the image since it was an morning sunrise shot, and I straightened the rocket into a pleasing composition. Also added a nice white border. Anyway, here’s the print I will be framing and hanging on one of the walls of my house this week!
