Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

Another photo of mine will be displayed at Huntsville Art Museum in the Eat, Drink, and Be Merry exhibit starting in mid-July. This photo was taken in the village of Braithwaite in the Lake District of England, September of 2018, at my favorite pub, the Royal Oak. I believe I had lunch, dinner, or a pint there every day I was there.

I was there for a week, photographing the lakes and mountains. The weather had other plans though, it rained cats and dogs the majority of my stay, so moments like these were common. On this day, in the late afternoon, I had my point and shoot camera with me on the end of the table, and pressed the shutter on what I considered a "vacation" photo.
