August theme results

August seemingly went by in the blink of an eye. A lengthy work trip to Colorado Springs took up most of the month, and I am just now getting back to the website. I was able to take some photos while I was in Colorado Springs, but I never planted my tripod. I captured some photos of Garden of the Gods, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Olympic Museum, Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, and the WWII Aviation Museum. Those pictures will come later. They may be way later as I am leaving for Scotland in 2 weeks. Busy times!

For now, I have some good news concerning August's results for the local photography club contest. The theme was boats and ships. In color, I had one photo placed third, and then in black and white, I had one photo get an honorable mention. I thought all photos had a fighting chance to place, but that's not the way it goes. Here are the photos I submitted.
