September Results

September went by in the blink of an eye. Preparing for my Scotland trip took up a lot of time, and work got really hectic too. Now I'm back from Scotland, the weather has cooled and the leaves are starting to change colors. I'm planning to work on the thousands of photos I took in my 17 days in Scotland, but it may not be until the end of the year when I finish. If I ever finish.

Out of place was the theme for the local club's monthly contest for September. I'd selected and submitted 4 strong photos, and while standing on a cliff photographing sea stacks on the Isle of Lewis and Harris, I checked to see how I'd done. I was stoked to see I'd won 1st place in Digital Color! No other places or honorable mentions for the other 3 photos, but a 1st place win takes away a lot of that sting.

Next month’s theme is “Open” which means anything goes. The deadline for entries is Monday the 16th, so I need to work on those photos now. Anyway, here's what I submitted.

1st place in Digital Color
