Weekly Assignment Results

Last week’s weekly assignment theme over at FredMiranda.com was “Wild”. I was in Kauai at the time and considered using a photo of a feral chicken, or a feral cat. But, I didn’t, the cat photo wasn’t taken in the same week (part of the rules), and I had already submitted a photo of a rooster for the monthly theme. So I used a photo of a waterlily I took at the complex where I stayed. It was in a small pond, and it was the only flower around. I titled the photo, Wild Flower.

Results came in today, and I tied for 3rd with 2 other photos with 5 votes. The photos that placed 1st and 2nd were excellent photos, one was an eagle in flight, and the 2nd was a macro photo of a small plant, looks like a fern all curled up. My photo was ok, not great. I was walking around the pond that day, trying to make something work but nothing every felt great. This is what I submitted.
