On Display
I currently have a photo hanging in the Huntsville Museum of Art Eat, Drink, and Be Merry exhibit. The photo was taken on a Canon EOS M50 camera in September of 2018 during my trip to the Lake District of England. The photo was taken in the village of Braithwaite at my favorite pub, the Royal Oak. That camera is long gone, I believe it was sold not long after that trip. Not sure why, if I had something similar to that today, I’d use it all the time!
Anyway, the story behind the picture was that it was a rainy day, much like many of the days I spent in the Lake District, so I walked to the Royal Oak for a pint of beer mid afternoon. I had my point and shoot with me and snapped this photo of my perfect pint in the quiet pub. I never imagined what I considered a "vacation" photo would get selected to hang in the museum, but here we are.
Last weekend, I visited the exhibit and found there were so many more awesome exhibits on display. As usual, every time I go to the museum I enjoy myself tremendously and this time was no exception. Here's my photo, again, and a few photos I took of my afternoon in the museum.
