Night at the ballpark

The Canon RF 100-400mm lens continually impresses me. For $500, it has been a fantastic lens. So much so, I tend to reach for it more than I do my EF 100-400mm lens. It's lighter and from what I can see while pixel peeping, the results are just as good.

Since I have owned the lens, I have wanted to take it to a Trash Panda's game. Tuesday May 2nd was my 1st opportunity. I met my friend Tom and we headed to the park on a windy and cool night. A few beers, brats and over a 1000 photos later, I am in love with this lens. I took my trusty 35mm lens too, but it was only on the camera for maybe 50 of those 1000 photos. The Tennessee Smokies were in town, and trounced the Trash Pandas 13-2. Despite the game's outcome, we had a great time and I got lots of keepers. Here are some of my favorites!
