March competition results

The March results are in, and I, once again, didn't do as well as I would have liked. I thought I had 4 strong photos with great compositions and nice editing. In the end, my Lake District photo from Otterbield Bay got an honorable mention, and that was it. Next month's theme is architecture, and I am not sure what if anything I have warrants a submission.

It's becoming increasingly more difficult to submit photos for the themed competitions. Finding the time to get out and shoot for that theme, or scour my archive of photos, is getting shorter and shorter. Mainly because I have photos I am interested in, which sometimes passes me by because I am out scouting out the latest theme. And of course, the inconsistent judging is making me rethink continuing.

Anyway, I’m over a week back from my Grand Canyon visit, and my Utah Badlands photo workshop. Just now feeling caught up with work, life, house, pets, all of that. I'm partially through the photos, which I hope to work on this weekend and finish. There's a lot more, so, wishful thinking, I think.

Here's my honorable mention photo from March's competition!
