For once, a reduction in gear

The Panasonic Lumix ZS80D has been sold. A coworker who is about to do some work travel wanted a point and shoot camera and I sold it to him with extra batteries, a carrying case, and a 128gb SD card for an incredibly great price. I used the camera handful of times, maybe put 500 photos on it. So it was pretty much just gathering dust. Anyway, removing it from my gear list after this post gets posted.

As far as what is next, who knows? I tend to get excited about something and must have it immediately. I won’t say I am not going to replace it, but it may end up getting replaced down the road by something. I’ve been considering, better yet, lusting, over the Sony RX100 series of cameras. And the Sony A6700 has been considered a few times too. Of course, anytime I add something to my arsenal, it will be reported here. Until then, I am going to keep working with this new to me 400mm Canon lens. So far it’s been impressive! Especially for the price. Some pictures from it are coming soon, until then, I am off to the couch to hang with the cats.
