February results
The local club's monthly theme for February was 'Water's Edge". Once it was announced, immediately, I had one photo in mind. But I didn't think it was a great photo, but it did show the power of the ocean which I liked, and it had a person in the scene. After that, I was pretty lost on what to submit. In the end, a lighthouse photo from Scotland with a rainbow and a photo of Icelandic ponies standing along the edge of a stream made the color submissions. And then two photos of people at the edge of the ocean made the cut for black and white.
I had intended to attend the event, my 1st time doing so, but my house is currently having new flooring installed. The entire house is upside down, and in such disarray, I opted to stay home and work inside the house. When I checked the results on on Tuesday morning, only one photo made the cut, an honorable mention for the photo I spoke about first. Two months in the books and just one honorable mention to show for it, perhaps the sophomore slump is real! Next month's theme is open, and I will be ready for it. Here are the photos I submitted for February.
