Downtown Huntsville photo walk
My friend Tom, and his dog Bentley met me downtown on Sunday for a walk. We used to meet up more frequently, but both of us have gotten busy. Tom in his retirement has not sat still in the 9 months or so since tapping out of the workforce. I believe he’s been on at least 7-8 one week or longer trips. And then my work and vacation travel has been more so than usual. Throw in some rain or snow, and we’ve not been on a walk this year. That all changed Sunday.
As usual we walked around the streets, getting in some exercise, catching up on each other’s lives. A good time for sure. Then after getting the blood flowing, we walked around Big Spring Park so I could photograph ducks, birds, buildings, and whatever else caught my eye. For this trip, I took the Canon R7 and the RF 100-400mm. My RF 14-35mm made the trip too, but was swapped out quickly, actually before even taking a single photo with the lens. In all, close to 1100. There were a few favorites, but one stuck out. Here’s my favorite shot from the walk, and then a handful of others I really liked. Which one is your favorite?
