2024 Favorite Photos
My 2024 photography year was prolific. I attribute that to my newly found passion of bird photography. It's kept me photographing even when I didn't want to, didn't have time, or maybe the weather wasn't great. I could mention a few other things, but it is the bird photography that energized my 2024.
This year, I had a few trips for work, Kauai, White Sands, and Chincoteague Island. And I traveled to the UK just a few weeks ago. I would have liked to have had one more trip in there, but 4 in a year is about right, almost too much. Even with the travel, I was able to have many downtown walks with my friend Tom, several sessions of bird photography in my backyard, and several sessions at various places around North Alabama. It was a great year!
For this year, I thought 24 photos for my favorites of 2024 would be a nice number, and easy to select. I was wrong. It was a tough selection process, yet I think I have a great collection of photos to call my favorites of 2024. Even if my Lake District workshop photos aren't finished with the edits yet! There could be an amended list once that happens!!
